Getting Started

Downloading

Download the DarkWave Studio setup program from ExperimentalScene. Locate the setup program on your computer. Usually your web browser will save the setup program in a folder called 'Downloads' in your documents folder. Double click the setup program to launch it.

Choosing Versions

If you have a 64-bit edition of Windows you will be able to select either one or both of the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the program. If you have a 32-bit edition of Windows then you will not have a choice as only the 32-bit version works with a 32-bit edition of Windows.

Compatibility

If you have a 64-bit system you may wish to use the 64-bit version for improved performance. If you wish to work with third party VST plugins you may find many are only available as 32-bit versions. These are only supported by the 32-bit version of DarkWave Studio. If you plan to use VST plugins with the 64-bit version of DarkWave Studio you will need to make sure they are available in a 64-bit format.

Launch The Program

Locate the shortcut or shortcuts placed by the setup program to the versions installed of DarkWave Studio on your Desktop or locate the DarkWave Studio folder in the Windows Start Menu and launch either the 32-bit or 64-bit version of the program.
